Summer updates June 08, 2015 20:01

As the weather gets warmer and time seems to slow right down, we here at Telephone Explosion are busier than ever. The new Cross LP has shipped and is in stores now. Response has been great and they even got a nifty little Pitchfork review.

June 16th will see the release of Mick Futures' debut LP, "Banned From The Future." It's all-killer, no-filler and you'd be wise to order one now.

Just a few days later (June 23rd to be exact,) we'll be revisiting our Ataraxia cassette series with JFM's "Free Hell." This is a great addition to our collection and the limited run of 100 will not last long.

We have many, many more things planned for 2015, and all of them are huge. Stay tuned for more.

TEENANGER “E P L P” DROPS SEPTEMBER 9TH September 01, 2014 11:13

As any kid who wears their new wool sweater to the first day of high school can tell you, early September is still very much summertime. With that in mind, we’d like to introduce you to “E P L P,” the newest offering from Teenanger. It was recorded in the dead of winter (as the album cover attests to) but the eight tracks on this record are the closest thing to “summer jams” the band has produced thus far.

Best enjoyed while: being pleasantly high, making one last trek to the cottage, lamenting the oncoming cold, wearing shorts.

"SINGLES DON'T $ELL" OUT TOMORROW September 16, 2013 00:00

All hands are on deck here at Telephone Explosion, as we plan for the Canadian release of "Singles Don't $ell."

The newest LP from Toronto's Teenanger is, by all accounts, their best yet. An early review from Now Magazine gave the album a perfect 5/5 rating, saying "<em>From start to finish, Singles is a pounding, mean, intermittently paranoid record crammed with sneered lyrics, lashing rhythms and coiling feedback riffs</em>."

The full album is currently streaming on our splash page, and the title track video (directed by Jeremy Jansen) can be seen below.

Canadian customers can order directly though us <a href="http://www.telephoneexplosion.com/site/products-page/lps/teenanger-singles-dont-ell/">HERE</a>. USA customers can order through <a href="http://www.southpaw-records.com/">Southpaw</a>.
